AGV K6 S: A Safe and Comfortable Helmet The AGV K6 S is a strong and light full-face helmet from AGV, an Italian quality brand. This model is the new version of the AGV K6 which was one of the lightest helmets on the market. This helmet meets the newest safety standard which means the helmet is ECE22.06-certified and is made for sport riders and touring riders. This sport-touring helmet is safe, light, and comfortable, with great air flow and great aerodynamics for long distance riding. Material The shell of the AGV K6 S Helmet is made of carbon and aramid fiber, making the K6 S both strong and lightweight. This helmet weighs only 1298 grams in a size M, which means the helmet will do great at preventing neck fatigue, even on long rides. The fiberglass helmet comes in 4 shell sizes, keeping the helmet small and compact which means this helmet will protect you better in case of an accident. The K6 S is available in 6 sizes (XS to XXL) so there are sizes for every rider. This helmet has an EPS shell which helps protect your head by being great at shock absorption in case of an accident. Comfort The inner liner of the helmet is made with soft, breathable fabric that absorbs sweat and keeps you cool. This inner liner is also anti-bacterial, which helps to keep the helmet fresh and clean. Additionally, the cheek pads and crown pad are removable and washable. AGV also added cheek pads that are glasses-friendly, which means the helmet will not put pressure on your head. This helmet has an Emergency Quick Release which helps rescue workers take off the helmet quickly and safely in case of an accident. This helmet has a chin curtain included in the box, which helps block wind and noise, making your ride quieter and more comfortable. The K6 S has speaker pockets, so you can install a communication system and talk to others while riding. AGV added a breath guard which stops visor condensation. Finally, the K6 S has a double-D closure to keep the helmet secure on your head while riding. Visor The AGV K6 S has a clear visor with a wide field of view, so you can see the road better. The visor is scratch resistant, which prevents the visor from getting damaged. This helmet is Pinlock prepared, and the helmet has a Pinlock included in the box which helps prevent visor condensation. There is also a strong visor mechanism that pulls the visor to the shell which helps reduce wind noise and prevents water from entering the helmet. There is a visor tab in the middle of the visor which allows the visor to lock in place so it stays shut while riding. Ventilation The AGV K6 S has 3 top inlets which helps air to enter the air channels in the EPS liner to keep your head cool while riding. This helmet also has a chin inlet which helps to prevent visor condensation. Hot air leaves the helmet through the back vents in the spoiler for better aerodynamics. A spoiler at the back keeps the helmet steady, while the visor system helps block wind noise. These features help make the ride quieter and more comfortable.
