The maker of this wish box made it for what appears to be a penpal. The note tells her to put 3 wishes inside. This hand turned wooden round lidded box, trinket box, or wish box comes with this note. This is a beautifully turned piece with a lid. Signed on the bottom in marker, Ivan Ludwig, 2009. Apricot & Cocobola have also been written on the bottom. I think it should have said cocobolo, meaning that the piece was made from apricot and cocobolo wood. Approximately 3″ diameter and 5 3/4″ tall
